Bath, Somerset

If you are looking for a City that is full of things to do then you will not be disappointed with all that Bath has to offer. Possibly one of the most beautiful places in the world, Bath is famously known for its wonderful selection of Roman Baths. Forever having been one of the most popular places in the UK you'll find Bath much changed but not spoilt. Visiting Bath at any time of the year offers all visitors a great deal to do. Roam the streets, the Bath stone warm and inviting. Wander down a narrow street in the search for shops containing all sorts of delights from bakeries to clothing, antiques to wine merchants. No two streets are the same. You have come to the right place if you are looking for artisan shopping. You have come to the right place for high street shopping...... every taste is catered for!

Pamper yourself in the Therma Spa, take afternoon tea in the Pump Rooms or simply sit admiring the architecture in the Royal Crescent. Fans of Jane Austin will not be disappointed, why not visit the museum? If this is not up your street then take a glance at the Bath Rugby stadium from Pulteney Bridge or stroll to the Holbourn Museum.

If you're worried about the children never fear, pop to Victoria Park and they'll be entertained for hours amongst the amazing play equipment and skate park. If you are visiting at Christmas time then try your hand on the Ice Skating Rink next to the Crazy Golf.

For the more active, take a moment to step away from the heart of the City and walk up Lansdown Road, exploring the beautiful Lansdown Crescent and on further towards the schools where the views take your breath away (if the walk hasn't done so already!)

One of our favourite places in the UK, Bath makes a great day trip when you stay at Chilcott's Barn.
